Okay, now for a full view shot! *dun da da daaaa*
The shoulders on this thing were a bitch and a half to try to recreate, I think Squaresoft has no concept of clothing physics, because if the do they went out of their way to make the FFXI Artifact costumes impossible to recreate in real life x_x
Things I like about this shot
First I like my pose, most of the time I come out looking goofy or just awkward ><
The big plants behind me add a nice touch since the Mithra were supposed to be a jungle dwelling people origonally ^^
The bright light behind me shows off the plants and my costume really nicely and removes the hotel walls and city outside very nicely, whodda thunk glare could work to my advantage?
Things I don't like
Not having finished the mittens that go with that yet my hands are quite blatently not Mithra skin coloured, then again since I haven't gotten those bloody Healers Mitts in game yet I have very little idea exactly what they look like
The pant legs, especially around the flare, are rather rumpled
Once again, the band for the ears shows up way too easily, if I paint it silver that should help that alot methinks =3
Ahhh absolutely stunning work! Wish I could do something useful like that... just that 4th grade home economics incident with a mean sewing machine and my left pointer finger...

Haha. Congrats on being the first male Mithra I've ever seen... wait. There are all sorts of Manthra ingame, but still. You are the first cosplayer haha. Awesome job on the whitemageage. Most that I have seen have looked sort of sloppy in comparison.
As for the pose. I think a healing pose would have been appropriate. Just my opinion.
Thanks I actually had a couple other pics on there, I'm not sure where they went. I know I did a white magic casting pose >.>
I think the WHM AF set is deceptive in it's implied simplicity, it looks plain in comparison to most other AF, so people don't put as much effort into it. Honestly the shoulder piece was the only really difficult part to figure out, since I made most of the tunic pattern from scratch.
Here are 100 (and a few more) of some very nice photographs on deviantART that I think should get some attention. Some already have a fair bit, but deserve it. So I'm giving them more.
With a gallery that takes you on a journey into another world, `spyroteknik has firmly secured a place as one of the top artists within our community.
